Platte Park Case Study: Before

In collaboration with the Guy Team of Remax of Cherry Creek, Paint Denver was enlisted to help sell a property in the Platte Park neighborhood of Denver. The Guy Team took over the listing from a previous agent, who had listed the property at $498,000.

After 93 days on the market, there had been no sale.

The team took over the listing property and immediately called Paint Denver to freshen up the interior as well as hire a professional to stage the property. The Guy Team dropped the list price to $485,000.

Within 13 days of the painting, staging, and price drop the property was under contract.

Platte Park Case Study: After

Just a few months prior, a similar unit (300 square feet less) across the hall had been sold. This property had not been painted or staged and sold for $405,000.

This is just one example of the difference a fresh coat of interior paint can make on a home’s selling price. For a relatively small investment up front, the return in the form of a higher selling price is well worth it.
